Pozanudzam was wynurzeniami z DB (bo czekam na robotę, siedzę w pracy ). Kto będzie chciał, to omiecie to wzrokiem
Ktoś skupił się na metaforze stawu:
*WARNING*
DESIRE TO BE THOUGHTFUL AND PHILOSOPHICAL
Hwa-gong’s metaphor about the pond to Sun Woo.
I LOVED that. I think that this is honestly something the everyone could benefit from studying. Just because something looks a certain way to you on the surface doesn’t mean you know everything about it as fact. We can’t take experiences… or especially people… at “face” or “first” value. We’ve all got deeper roots. We’re all made up of hidden parts. And yes, some of those parts are dark, cold, and frightening, but only when you begin to explore then unknown can you truly hope to KNOW… and learn… and grow as human beings.
I know I’ve made this mistake countless times. Looking at ideas or people through what I know, see, (or sadly sometimes just hear) about it/them. Instead of seeking truth, searching deeper to find what lies beneath surface level. I think this can be applied to education, to jobs, to ways of thinking, and most to humanity. No pond is without secrets, but the secrets don’t have to be something we ignore – nor something we fear. We simply have to be willing to put aside what we “know” (or see) as truth and take a risk to learn and try and understand that which is unfamiliar.
And then… what if I’m the pond? What if I am hiding my truest self for fear others will not want to see… or won’t like what they see. “To be seen as we truly are, is the biggest risk we will ever take.”
I riposta:
some ponds come with a bonus of leeches though. Best not explore that one, if you see them crawling around. STAY. CLEAR. OF. LEECHES.
this reminds me of Kaali meteor crater on the island of Saaremaa, Estonia, which looks hella deep at first glance, but frequently dries up to show a flattish bowl of green slime. Really hate when a drama character turns out like that. I hope it won´t happen with Sun Woo. Have more depth, please!
I feel like I owe it to this show to be nice after trashing it before it came out. I don’t have a love or hate relationship with it. It’s just freaking nice to have a sageuk that has nothing to do with Joseon.
I’m going to just zip it and enjoy what it has to offer even if it feels like it’s written for middle schoolers.
The history behind the show even when it’s lacking in primary sources is fascinating. It’s too bad this writer is still new and inexperienced with sageuks just as much as most of this young cast.
I have nothing to watch so might as well finish it.
However, people seems to only care about how stupid, useless, crybaby and annoying Aro is (since episode 1).. When almost all characters have their own flaws just like what you mentioned. Ji Dwi also always get protected by others (Aro took the SW’s sword for him, SW pretends to be king to protect him, Pa Oh & Hwa Gong also protect him etc…, but I don’t recall people called him damsell in distress.. Haha… (Opppss… I think I’ll get thrown by rocks for badmouthing PHS oppa)
This show is not perfect. I am watching it because the romance, the bromance, little political machination, less war, less intrique.. Hwarang is a light saeguk. If I want to watch heavy political saeguk, i’ll watch Trees, Dragons, etc… So far the show meets my expectation..
Zrzędzenie:
After watching episode 14, I have decided to drop the show until the finale comes out & then I will be watching it backwards.
Jidwi can’t catch a break. Personally, I blame the writing. It is honestly all wrong. Things are starting to make less and less sense as time goes on with no resolution in sight.
I hate the way SW is being made out to be better king material than Jidwi. It’s unnecessary. The writer should have watched Descendants of The Sun to learn that a good brotherhood can be formed between the guys without making one look weaker/less than worthy than the other.
I odpowiedź Kiary:
Moo Myung was not guarded with the knowledge that he is a king when he was young. He is a reckless country pumpkin with nothing to lose. He is pretty much free to be himself and he knows what it’s like to be a powerless peasant because he lives like one.
I think he is just a natural born leader and there are many ways to be a leader beside being the ruler of the country.
It’s natural for the others to follow and admire him even Sammaekjong. That’s why he is a Hwarang so he can learn to be a better king to his people. He is learning a lot from Wi Hwa, Moo Myung, Ah-ro etc.
A king doesn’t become great on his own. It’s the people around him, his loyal subjects who are going to help him become one.
His mother can’t do more than protect his life the best way she knows how. It’s hard enough to be a single woman with the responsibility of running a country full of men who are trying to kill the only heir to the throne.
I totally agree. Frankly speaking Sun Woo is one of my least favorite characters (for the same reasons you mentioned), which is awful coz he’s the lead. His eyes look dead to me most of the time and I dont feel a connection to him at all. I like Ji Dwi more.
SW is the worst character
The King should be the main character
Wise to be the King in turmoil situation
AR should be smart and cute not try to be cute , poor acting

Edit: jeszcze z DB, trochę gdybania i historii.
Sooyi:
This is another theory about Sunwoo’s identity that is gaining peopular interest with Korean netizens. Many speculate that Sunwoo may be the real life figure Kim Mu-ryuk: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kim_Mu-ryeok.
He was the second/third son (according to the Korean page) of King Guhae, the last ruler of Geumgwan Gaya. Following his father’s surrender, his family became part of the true bones of Silla and he joined the military and became King Jinheung/Samaekjong’s general (hinted by the bromance in ‘Hwarang’?). In 553, he led his army to seize the northeastern frontier of Baekje.
Some facts do not match up because Kim My-ryuk was already 14 when his father bowed to Silla (or Sunwoo might have amnesia?) and straight after, his family joined the rank of true bones and he enlisted as a general. However it is understandable since it is taking liberties as a fusion sageuk.
Kiara:
That makes sense and it ties in Gaya and Baekje as well. Not only for General Mu-ryek’s origin from Geumgwan but the other Gaya (Daegaya) and why King Jinheung was furious with their alliance with Baekje. (Baekje is currently Southern Buyeo during King Seong’s reign).
Oh my gosh if Moo Myung is meant to be General Mu-ryeuk then he must have been the general that was leading the Shilla army (523 or 524?) against this crown prince that they are meeting in this epiode.
Now this makes more sense and why Moo Myung stepped up and be the leader here. He would be the one to bring down the current king of Baekje and almost kill this crown prince.
Can we say that this meeting won’t end well? I want to see them meet on the battlefield.
I originally thought that the story would be about a king and his general from the setup of the characters.
I was also hoping that would be the last king of Daegaya too so he’d take Ah Ro with him but that would make him and Jinheung enemies based on the history.

| Cytat: | today and I can just say
I'm DISAPPOINTED
Sunwoo : I liked him at first but idk now i kind of skip all of his and aro's scenes, they are plain BORING (no offense to anyone that's just my opinion). The problem with sunwoo's character is that the writer is pushing him way too much! The writer is so obsessed with giving him all the glory and perfection that all the other awesome side characters are being overshadowed. The problem is he doesn't have a flaw, I know it's a drama but can it be a little bit close to reality? There are people like me who doesn't like "Perfect hero". I mean he doesn't even know how to fight with a sword but he not only beat youngshi's best swordsman but he is going to win against baekja as well? come on writer! In moon lovers it was revealed later that wangso was given private lessons and that's why he was so good at all the sword fight blah blah and that makes sense , sw came out of no and bam the best swordsman. I like him as a human being he is nice he is not mean. But the way the story is going I won't be surprised if the writer made him the king by killing jinheung and by changing the history and in that case KBS I'm not watching your damn historical dramas again damn you.
Jidwi: What a WASTE of an awesome character. I really liked it that he decided to go to baekja he can shut those people who were claiming in earlier episodes that they fear that someday he will just come and act like a King. Knowing that the king himself fought for silla in baekja will make his position strong. But wow *slowly claps* he didn't say he is the king. I don't know what historical scene writer has in his/her mind when jidwi will declare he is the King. It better be better then this baekja scene else imma gonna throw something on floor. I like him better with ahro they have wayyy more chemistry imo. I LOVED it when he said he is the king of this country infront of his mommy. Also he became hwarang shouldn't his focus be on how to make connections? I have not seen him talked to anyone beside sw. He has absolutely no interaction with yeowool hansung and banryu (except in 6th episode). Suhoo goes around smacking his face and I don't know what magic he will perform in the later 6 episodes that all of a sudden everyone will become his loyal servant (count it 5 since I don't see anything big happening in next episodes).
Banryu : Oh banryu my LOVE! I can see myself changing my thesis from twitter analysis to banryu analysis. My FAVORITE character of this drama. I love how deep and conflicted his character is , all this "I'm a true bone , I'm the master here blah blah" is nothing but fear of his heart ,that doesn't mean his bitchy behavior can be justified lol, I don't like his mean behavior he needs to stop but at the same time I can understand him and that it's not easy to stop. They made it clear that he was abused a lot in his childhood (when he told his dad "do you still think I'm a scared little child?" after his father slapped him). Probably this made him so cold. He has soft side and a dark side and I love such characters, I was so happy when he didn't destroy the drums and was disappointed when he gave the letter to CR which by the way is a good move by writer since him disobeying his father just for his fellow friends is too early at this moment and it shows the conflict in his character that the one time disobeyed his father his biological father told him about the consequences that the next time he didn't dare to go against his step dad, many people would disagree with me but I don't want his bio dad to die, banyu loves him and he loves banryu too, evil dad can die for all I care. His dad is just like him a pawn and that's it. Hope he realize this soon and betray his step dad. and I TOTALLY LOVE HIM WITH SOOYEON. Can there romance be any cuter? One moment he is about to beat the richard simmons out of someone and the next moment he is just a fluffy ball of awkwardness just because sooyeon held his hand. I don't even know how many times I have watched their scene they are too cute for words and I screamed internally when they kissed because OH MAN I DIDN'T SEE IT COMING! I'm just too sad they are the supportive characters and thus not much screen time (let me give credit to Do ji han for his awesome acting his tone with hwarang boys and sooyeon is so different you can really see how good his acting is and what awesome job he is doing portraying banryu, he is so HANDSOME! Do ji han you have a new fan here )
Sooho: I like him a lot! You can totally see that the Kim siblings are very good nature wise, no matter how much he fought with banryu he clearly had a soft spot for him and it was evident from time to time (Queen's parade, 6th episode, when he asked if something happened why would he join hwarang) ep 14 was a clear indicator that he liked banryu as a friend even though he broke my heart when he said not to accept sooyeon because he don't want to be awkward with banryu again I was happy he thinks that way I don't know about silla and baekja but there will be war between sooyeon and sooho over banryu . But his crush over queen makes me equally sad, poor boy gonna be shocked when he finds out he was played by that evil queen our sooho is too sensitive for this shiz <_<.
Yeowool : so underrated Imo he should have been the reason to bring the boys closer since he is basically their peacemaker and he is in good terms with everyone even banryu somehow. I like his character and wish he was shown more
Hansung / Dasun: aww poor unfortunate characters I hope they both find happiness and I hope hansung won't die he is too cute to die like this
In short I can understand why the ratings are low. I'm watching this drama just for Banryu else I would have dropped it long long time again. His two minutes scene with sooyeon is the reason I wait for monday. They can have their own drama I won't mind
and No offense to anyone whatever I write is just my opinion , sorry if I offend someone  and for any english mistakes as well since english is not my first language |
No nic, drama mnie dalej bawi i interesuje jak to pociągną dalej.

Another thing abt MM martial art skills...is it just me or is MM jumping skill was a part of martial art training? At least that's how it is in Chinese drama. Anyway his jump didn't look like any ordinary jump, but a very skillfull one. So here's a thought. May be when he was young MM was trained with martial arts but for some reason he has forgotten abt it. His lack of skill when using weapon is because he didn't have the chance to practice during his adolescence years. Which also why he's fast in catching up. When he's desperate & sticky situation, the skills naturally & subconsciously return back to him.

To trzeba jakiś odcinek obejrzeć - akurat gdzieś w tv pokazują serial. Zapewne zapłaczą się wielbicielki Jun Ki segukowego - masa osób trzyma kciuki, żeby to on dostał rolę w Bride of Water God. Podobno do głównej roli żeńskiej przymierza się Moonówna - ta od The Princess Man.
